I've been doing a lot of cardio and have lost a lot of weight off my tummy and thighs. But now I want to tone my stomach and make it more firm and flat. What would be some good ab exercises to tone up and strengthen my muscles? RIght now I do crunches and sit ups which seem to work so far.
For me Full Sit-Up and Twist is best for me, with my knees bent and my back flat on the floor, use my stomach muscles to raise my shoulders off the floor. Once they are off the floor, twist my shoulders in the direction of the opposite knee, and then go back to the starting position. Repeat for the other shoulder.
Cycling and sit-ups would be the best workout for your abs.
Planks and push-ups. Great for the entire core...especially with a bad back (which a lot of people suffer with).
I like abs because you don't need any machines and floor exercise the best.
