loading speed of this website
#1
Is anyone else experiencing extremely long load times on this website? I'm not sure what's going on, but I have a high speed internet connection and it is taking me 30 seconds for a page to load. Anyone got any ideas?

I am experiencing long load time also with DSL high speed but with the content of the forum what it is, I don't spend a lot of time on this site.
Too many "I have an Icon product that is not working" stuff. I am looking for a forum that has COMMERCIAL product discussion. To me, this just isn't worth the time.

I will get someone looking at the problem Spectrum ... I have noticed it also lately ... I think it is something with our web hosting service.

Fit ... If you can figure out how to get more of the servicers & commerial customers, here and posting I would welcome that. I have alway wanted a SERICER site .... read the propose statement. However I cannot make them come and post here. If you have any ideas please, let the rest of us know ... I haven't found ANY other site discussing commerial or retail issues. Confusedhock: In the mean time I intend to answer the ICON questions to the best of my ability with the time I have, and HOPE that the commerial clubs, YMCA's, hospitals & Universites find the site and start visiting more often. .... some things just take time!

Best of luck if we don't hear from you anymore.

Thanks for whatever you did. Pages are loading lightening fast now!

I agree that this site would be great if commercial providers and clubs used it more, but I can't think of anything you could do that would make that happen.

I've seen this forum format elsewhere on the web. Is it a free service, fee based, etc.? How easy was it to setup? If there's a fee, who pays it?

I don't know all the ins & outs about the setup, maint , or even what it's called .... BUT I do know it's not FREE  .

I'm the one paying for it ... that's how strongly I feel it's needed for our community. I think if we cater to anwering all these questions ... at some time we will all find that the commerial customers will FIND this site and see who are knowledgable about the products .... guess who their going to call on in their local area.

That's why I encourge you to advertize your services on the site ... put you websites up ... link your sites ... to the other service providers or businesses here ... who are responsing to questions.

Here is an earlier post that is still an option for you to increase business! This post comes from the "Looking for Servicer" forum.

Quote:We've created a system to help all you Independent Servicer Provicders (ISP) out there, as well as our customers. When a club, hospital, hotel, customer, community center, etc. purchases parts from us. They are shown service provider contact information for servicers who are in their area. You must have an account with us and list your service area.

If you would like to receive this referral business you can sign up for an account with us and set up your account appropriately.

Here is a link to step by step instructions on how to do this

Your welcome to link to our wesite if you like! We are gettting 1000's of hits, linking will help increase the volume to your website.
If you need more information on how to setup a link contact us at staff@FitnessRepairParts.com
