THIS FORUM IS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
#2
I recommend the we be loyal to the aplication or end user and not focus on the Brand name of the equipment. for example everyone knows that Hammer Strength is really tough and thought to be the goods but in my opinion it does not belong in a Ladies workout facility, anymore than I would recommend a Lifestyler treadmill to a NFL running back. So let us be loyal to the person writing the check and not the manufacturer recieving the check. Let the situation dictate the quality of the equipment necessary for the job. I fell that quality and price are relivent end user requirements. That said I reallly don't like the false claims of the Taiwanese treadmills on the lower end. Some of them claim to handle 350lbs and have motors with 2.5 horespower. Be careful what you believe and always check the numbers and so the math. Import treadmills range from 200 to 675 dollars and up in price. How can a decient treadmill be made for 200 dollars ? I guess if the end user weighs 85 pounds who cares what the treadmill, that is not the point. Watch for the claims that the import companies are making. Some of them are good some bad check for yourself.
