MAJOR couch potato here.
Dang...I should have used that as a nickname:-)

Been out of the exercise regime for quite a few years. I used to walk at least 4-5 miles a day.
Trouble with balance and back pain made me quit.
I'm trying to get back in the groove with a used Bowflex I recently purchased. Most of the exercises don't reqiure much balance control since I'm either sitting or laying.
Wish I could walk like I use too, but I'll start with this to try to build my leg and other muscles up a bit.

Nice forum here...loads of good info.
