The 2016 NHL Entry Draft was lighter on trades than everyone seemed to think it would be, but there were still some important moves made and the actual draft brought plenty of intrigue on its own. There were surprises aplenty and even some history was made. First off, the Maple Leafs left no mystery as to who was the No. 1 pick.
