Problem with a Nautilis NE 2000 Eliptical
#1
Hello forum I have a Nautilis NE 2000 elliptical and the other day I noticed that when I go on the machine I pushed down on the pedal and it seem like I the more weight I put on the pedal something was slipping. I am still able to use the unit but it seems the more pressure I push down as if something was slipping what could that be, Thanks for any assistance offered on this issue.

Where the crank arm connects to the main stair arm...there is a little cover on each side. Remove the cover and tighten down the nut on the screw. It may be broken. This is a common problem with these machines. That part is no longer available. Let me know if you get it figured out.

If the bolt is tight, then yes, most likely a loose or worn drive belt. It would feel like it was slipping.

I believe that belt can be tightened so you maybe able to try this without ordering parts. Make sure to tighten both sides equally.
