looking for parts
#1
Smile
I need parts for a Proform 1280 S elliptical Model # pfccel13050
looking for left flex bracket, M8.5 large washer, M6 X 18 mm patch screw, flex bracket spacer. If needed I can email pics to anyone who may have what I'm looking for. I've looked at every parts website I can find, Proform said the flex bracket is obselete so my only chance is someone having one sitting around.
Thank you

Hi, I am looking for the same part also. I have tried the online vendors but have no luck. Would you know if we found the right side bracket, part #82, would the brass bushing work. My bracket is OK, but the bushing broke at the flange.

Hi Rob
I looked on the parts drawings to see if the brass bushings were different part numbers for each side. They don't show a part number for them. They show them as coming installed in the bracket when you order the bracket. (when you used to be able to order from proform) I would assume they are the same because they take the same bolt to hold them on. The flange part broke off mine too, I was just going to grind the ridges off and find a washer the right size and use the old brass bushing with the washer on the outside. The washer would eventually wear out but easy to buy and replace. I couldn't find any of the brass bushings either. I have gone to a machine shop for a price on getting a bracket made of aluminum or steal and it was only $30 more than the part was when you could order it from proform. you could get a new bushing made too.

Hi Steve,

I may try the washer idea. I do not use it much(prefer my bike) so I will not be spending money to fix it. If I cannot get it to work, I will throw it out. If I do, maybe I could send you the RH side to see if it works.
